Vertical Electrophoresis Chamber
Vertical electrophoresis tank (double plate). Device for vertical electrophoresis of nucleic acid and protein simples. The separation of these molecules is based on their size and charge in an acrylamide matrix. This method, also known as PAGE (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), is a technique routinely used in proteomics laboratories or molecular studies involved in immunology, antigen-antibody interactions, and especially in protein analysis.
